Green Bay, Wisconsin

Full time Noc and PM shift, along with part time PM, and every other weekend day shift positions available for a Certified Nursing Assistant in our skilled nursing facility. Work with an excellent team in our Eden Alternative home. A critically important role in the daily life of this community is filled by the certified nursing assistant. A CNA is the person who knows the neighbors (residents) most closely and often times is their closest friend. CNAs provide medical and physical care to the neighbors to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level. Eliminating the plagues of loneliness, helplessness, and boredom motivates our CNAs to work with the whole care partner team to identify ways to deepen relationships, create meaning, and aid neighbors in being the decision makers in their lives. As part of the neighborhood team our CNAs help to support the activities of the neighborhood including recreation, restorative exercises, minor housekeeping, and meal service. All interactions with neighbors, co-workers, family and visitors are performed in a kind and caring manner. CNAs are part of a care partner team responsible for creating home for the neighbors here in our community.
