Who We Are

Our President, Pete Hietpas, started his career as a CNA in the Fox Valley Wisconsin area working with a variety of staffing agencies. He had a passion for caring for others, but felt that staffing agencies were lacking care and compassion for their own nursing staff. As a result, Pete started our parent company, Nurses PRN in 1995.  As he worked with clients and facilities over the years, he discovered a need in the market for home health services and contract therapy care within facilities and at patient homes.

In 2015, that discovery fueled passion to start PRN Home Health & Therapy. Ever since, our team of highly qualified, caring and compassionate health care professionals provide skilled nursing care, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy to patients in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and in the comfort of their own homes.

We pride ourselves in our ability to offer a Continuum of Care approach. Our partnership with skilled nursing facilities allow us the privilege to follow the patient throughout their rehabilitation journey. We provide inpatient therapy at skilled nursing facilities, at-home therapy when the patient is discharged from the facility, and outpatient therapy at the same skilled nursing facility the patient was at. PRN Home Health and Therapy offers continuous and familiar care throughout each stage of the patient’s journey.
